The march of the seasons in Manilla.
Most of these photos appear with weather reports in this blog. They show features of the small country town of Manilla, in the part of New South Wales, Australia that is called the “North-West Slopes”. That is, the area of hills and plains inland from the Northern Tablelands (or New England). Manilla is on the Namoi River, which flows west to join the Darling.
Nearly all of these photos were taken in the month or season of the weather report where they appear. Most of them show trees, shrubs, or plants that are native to the area.
