Stick Insect

A stick insect of the genus Tropidoderus. This male has a body length of about 120 mm, and seems much longer with a foreleg stretched out like that. Tropidoderus stick insects prefer to live in Australian open forests and woodlands. They eat entire leaves of eucalypts and acacias.
