The tesselated box-like bark of a White Box tree (Eucalyptus albens) in the rosy glow of sunset. This tree, one metre in diameter and 23 metres tall, may have been self-sown about 1890. Behind it are two mistletoe-infested Mugga Ironbarks (Eucalyptus sideroxylon) and, in the distance, 35-metre River Red Gums (Eucalyptus camaldulensis).
