The Woodland Garden

Mature White Box trees are the tallest stratum in a reconstructed woodland of the district. Younger trees include Australian Cypress, White Box, Blakely’s Red Gum, Deane’s Wattle and Weeping Myall. Shrubs include Western Golden Wattle (in bloom), Cooba, Wilga, Hop Bushes and Jewel-box Cassia. Ground layer plants include Pepper-leaf Senna, Cotton Bush and Saloop Saltbush.
