Rain events in February 2020 transformed this gravel path in the woodland garden from bare to overgrown. The dominent plant is the Saloop saltbush (Einadia hastata). I bought about 20 of these local native plants in 2002 to form a ground cover. By January 2020 hardly any of the plants could be found. That has changed. [NSW Flora Online says the plant is Einadia hastata (formerly Rhagodia hastata) in the family Chenopodiaceae; Wikipedia says it is now Chenopodium robertianum in the family Amaranthaceae.]
Introduced Couch grass (Cynodon dactylon) is also spreading across the path.
I will hand-weed the gravel and whipper-snip the rest.
